At Doncaster on Saturday Arthur Moody, labourer, Goldthorpe, was fined 6s. for having no front light on his bicycle.
Wm. Cooper, miner, South Kirkby, was fined 9s. for riding a cycle without a red reflector.
For having been drunk and disorderly, Reginald Whittaker, miner, South Kirkby, was at Pontefract on Saturday fined 15s., and Bernard Kirkham, miner, South Elmsall, and James Aspey, miner, of Upton, were fined 12s. each.
Fines were imposed at Doncaster on Wednesday:
Drunk and disorderly, Samuel Neal, miner, Bolton-on-Dearne, 9s.; Jack Mills, miner, Thurnscoe, 12s.; John Yeomans, colliery contractor, Conisboro’, 9s.;
Reginald Robertshaw, miner, Bolton-on-Dearne, 12s. and 15s. for violent and abusive language;
Alec Simpson and Harry Catlow, Mexboro’ miners, 5s. each for playing football on the highway;
Edward Dooney and Fredk. Dainty, Denaby miners, 7s. 6d., and Isaiah Gough, Denaby miner, 10s., for obstructing footpath;
Fred Graves, brick worker, Conisboro’, 7s. 6d. for depositing litter on highway.
“Well, it’s done. I’ll take it out in some other way,” said Arthur Beck, of Wombwell, when summoned at Barnsley on Wednesday for violent and abusive language. He was fined 7s. 6d.
