Councillor Hallsworth Tribute

Mr. Herbert Hallsworth, vice-chairman of the Wombwell Education Sub-Committee, writes :

“It is with feelings of profound regret that I think of the passing of our great friend, Mr. Edward Tune, J.P., chairman of the Wombwell Education Sub-Committee.

For over twenty years it has been my great pleasure and privilege to work with him in both elementary and technical education, and it is a great joy to me to know that the pleasure was mutual.

I know that his departure from our midst will be a tremendous loss
