Mr Samuel Viggars, secretary of the Wentworth Division Liberal Association, who is making strenuous efforts to revive liberalism in the division, and is convinced that the fortunes of the party are again rising, and optimism which seems to be justified by the result of recent bye-elections.

Mr Viggars was one of the founders of Wombwell Reform Club and was secretary from 1887 to 1914.
