Barnsley Girl Burned To Death

Yesterday Sarah Anne Moore, aged 7 years, daughter of Samuel Moore, miner, 46 Milton St, Wombwell, died from burns.

The child was standing with her back to the fire on Saturday morning, when her clothing caught fire.

She ran upstairs, and her mother put out the flames, but not until the child had been severely burned.

A doctor was called in, but the child succumbed to her injuries.
