A Broomhill raid

A police raid was carried out under the licensing regulations at a Broomhill club on Saturday.

About 20 offers under superintendent Blacker and Inspector Cox took part in the raid. The police removed a lorry load of stock.

The affair caused quite a sensation in the village. The police arrived about 2 p.m. in a closed car.
