Youngest “Flyer”

Here is the photograph of the youngest “Times” reader who had the opportunity recently of taking a flight with Sir Alan Cobham when the National Aviation Display was given at Broomhill.

He is George R. Webb, of 34, Hough Lane, whose experience was described in our last issue.

In his letter to us he states, “You will see that I am not very big to have the pleasure of a flight with a gentleman such as Sir Alan Cobham, but for that opportunity I thank you.”

George enjoyed the ride immensely and his worst feeling was when the ‘plane was landing.
