Wombwell Swimming Club – Three Champions

Winners of the “Mellor” Shield in the schoolboys’ team race at Wombwell Swimming Club gala — P. Raynor, G. Smith and R. McCue, of Wombwell Modern School.

McCue also won the schoolboys’ 50 yards championship and the “Empire” Cup.
