Wombwell Sweepstake Fraud

Tom Link (27), an unemployed glassworker, of 16. Milton Street, Wombwell, was bound over for 12 months at Barnsley yesterday for the fraudulent conversion of sums of 8s„ 3s. and 2s.

It was stated that he sold sweepstake tickets on the Cesarewitch to Mrs. Rose A. Lindley and two other people, who made weekly payments.

Link was ordered to repay the money and pay 60s. costs
