Wombwell turned the tables on Hanley at Wombwell last night by defeating them 44-38 in the Third Division of the National League.

Hanley put up a spirited challenge and maximum points honours went their captain H. Howard, with 11. Two Wombwell riders, Len Tuplin (captain)  and Harwood Pike had 10 points each
