Wombwell Schoolmaster Retiring.

Mr. J. O. Milner, the headmaster of the John street Schools, Wombwell, for the past twenty years, is retiring shortly.

He was first at Broomhill School., afterwards at Park street, and followed Mr. Shaw at John street Schools about ten years ago.

Of a quiet unassuming in disposition, Mr. Milner has devoted himself closely and conscientiously to his work, and has earned the admiration of all the teachers under him.

Failing health has hastened his retirement, and he proposed to reside in Scarborough.
