Wombwell Maintenance Case and a Wooden Leg

William North of 38, Milton Street, Wombwell, apply for discharge of a maintenance order with regard to his wife alleging that she had committed misconduct with Albert Gownall.

Witnesses were called to say that Mrs North and Gownall had occupied the same bedroom, and that Gownall’s wooden leg had been found in the bedroom.

Both Mrs North and Gownall denied the allegations, and the case was dismissed.
