Wombwell Main 110 for 7 Denaby Main 55
Denaby Main were unfortunate at Wombwell on Saturday, the home team being too strong for them.
Wombwell Main put the new rule into force, and withdrew their batsmen after making 110 for seven wickets.
Denaby played an uphill game very pluckily, but failed to approach their opponents’ number, only 55 being totalled.
S Schofield again excelled for the home team, and C. Hinchclific rattled op a good score. Hoyland, for Denaby Main, prolonged the game by making 18, after which he retired hurt. Cooke, Mountford, and Massey were the only other players who made any attempt to make a stand.
