A bevy of beauty queens attended a dance arranged by the Wombwell Hospital Queen at the Futurist Hall, Wombwell, on Friday.

Here they are with some of the guests. The Queens include Miss Florence Frost (Wombwell), Miss Betty Marley (Darfield), Miss Muriel Allsopp (Royston), and Miss Kathleen Sykes (Stairfoot).
