Wombwell Hospital Movement Chairman.

The committee of the Wombwell Hospital movement recently selected Mr. William H. Thompson as their chairman.

Mr. Thompson has never previously been identified with work of this kind.

The new chairman has already taken up the work enthusiastically and is taking his new responsibilities seriously.

Mr. Thompson is an official at Mitchell Main colliery. He became a deputy there 28 years ago and has held the position of under – manager for seven years.
