Window Smasher to Pay
James Daniel White, miner, Edward St, Wombwell was ordered at Barnsley yesterday to pay £14 of damages and costs, for having put his fist through a plate glass window of the Wellington Street wine vaults and find 24 shillings for drunken and disorderly conduct.
It was stated that he had been ejected from the premises in an intoxicated condition.
