Last week in ” Wombwell Roundabout” June Walton expressed pleasure in seeing in the Whit procession Mr Sidney Missing, now 87 and closely associated with Park Street Methodist Church for over 50 years. Until his retirement he was Cemetery Curator and Parks superintendent at Wombwell

A reader, Maureen Firth, of 55, Aldham House Lane, Wombwell read the note with considerable Interest as she had taken a photograph of Mr Missing and his son in the procession and has kindly sent it along to us.
