A prominent member of the Wath Cricket Club, Mr. Jack Swinburne, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Swinburne, Moor Road, Wath, was married at Wombwell Parish Church on Saturday to Miss Annie Thomas, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Thomas, Main Street, Wombwell. The Rector, the Rev. J. St. Leger Blakeney, officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore blue georgette and carried pink carnations. Her attendant, was Miss Dona Garrity, who was in yellow crepe suede and carried tulips. The best man was Mr. 0. Thomas and the groomsman Mr. B. Swinburne.
