At Wombwell Parish Church, on Saturday, the Rev. J. St. Leger Blakeney, officiating, Miss Gladys Irene Wilson, daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. Arthur Wilson was married to Mr. William Frederick Snead son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Snead, 2, Hadfield Street. Wombwell.

The bride was given away by her brother. Mr. Harry Wilson and wore pale blue satin and carried lilies and fern.

The bridesmaid, Miss Jessie Wadsworth, wore floral georgette and carried carnations.

The best man was Mr. Joe Snead, and the groomsman Mr. Reggie Farthing.
