The wedding took place at Wombwell Parish Church on Saturday of Miss Annie Whittles, eldest daughter of Mrs. Whittles and the late Mr. Alfred Whittles. 17, Barnsley Road, Wombwell, and Mr. Frederick Roy Wilson, youngest son of Mrs. Wilson and the late Mr. Arthur Wilson 17, Wath Road, Wombwell, the Rev. J. St. Leger Blakeney officiating.

The bride was given away by Mr. George Billingley, and wore blue crepe de Chine and carried yellow chrysanthemums. The maids, Misses Ada and Queenie Barber, wore red satin and red crepe de Chine respectively, and carried white chrysanthemums.

Mr. Gerald Wilson was best man and Mr. Roy Hargreaves groomsman.
