Wedding: Walker & Stables

At Wombwell Parish Church on Saturday, Miss Mabel Walker. second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Henry Walker. of 13, Thompson Road, Wombwell. was married to Mr. Leonard Stables. son of Mr. and Mrs. George Stables, of West Street, Hoyland.

The ceremony was conducted by the rector of Wombwell, the Rev. J. St. Leger Blakeney, Rector of Wombwell. The bride was given away by her eldest brother. Mr. Walter Walker, and wore blue crepe suede with hat to match. Miss Fanny Walker was in attendance as bridesmaid and wore a navy-blue costume. The best man was Mr. Granville Gill. of Dodworth.

A reception was held at the bride’s home.
