Gibson-Turton.
Miss Ethel Turton,fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Turton, “Westfields,” West Melton, was married at Brampton Church on Saturday to Mr. Harold Gibson, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Gibson, 95, Hough Lane, Wombwell, the Rev. L. Suggit officiating.
The bride wore lido blue georgette and lace, and carried pink carnations.
There were five maids, Misses Annie and Adeline Turton in pink silk with black capes, and three small maids. Doreen Turton, June Turton and Jean Walker, in beige silk, and carrying muffs.
The best man was Mr. Richard Wilson, and the groomsman Mr. George Noble.
