Wedding: THOMPSON & EMSON

Miss Ivy Emson, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. Emson, 12, Station Lane, Wombwell, was married at Wombwell Parish Church on Saturday to Mr. Frank Thompson, third son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Thompson, 98, Summer Lane, Wombwell, the Rev. J. S. Leger Blakeney officiating. The bride was given away by her brother-in- law, Mr. W. Leather (Upton), and wore blue crepe-de-Chine and carried lilies and carnations. Her attendants, Miss Ethel Moore and Mrs. Bolton, wore pink and mauve elephant crepe, and carried carnations and lilies. The best man was Mr. Walter Thompson, and the groomsman Mr. Edwin Morley.
