Wedding: Thewliss & Norman
On Saturday at St. Michael’s, Low Valley, which was crowded, the wedding took place of Mr. Miles Norman, second son of Mr. Miles Norman, 32, Orchard Street, to Miss Edna Thewliss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Thewlliss, 36, Lundhill Row, Lundhill. The bride was given away by her father and wore white satin silver lace coatee and carried arum lilies and white heather.
She was attended by Misses M. Norman and E. Thewliss, in pale green satin, B. Greenwood and Freda Thewliss in lemon satin. They carried baskets of flowers. Father Goaley officiated. The best man was Mr. Dennis Norman and Mr. Charles Norman was the groomsman.
A reception was held in the Lundhill Tavern and the honeymoon is being spent in Scarborough.
