The wedding took place at Wombwell Parish Church on Monday of Miss May Sanderson, only daughter of Mrs. Crossley, of 20, Victoria Road, Wombwell, and the late Mr. Fred Sanderson. to Mr. Harry Silverwood, son of Mr. Silverwood, of 33, Pearson Field, Wombwell, and the late Mrs. Silverwood.
The bride was given away by her grandfather. Mr. S. Broadhead and wore white satin with veil and coronet of camellias.
Attendants were Mrs. C. Horner. Mrs. E. Wright and Miss Jessie Woodall (two in green and one in burgundy), and Jean Crossley (8) and Margaret Crossley (9) in blue. Mr. Harold Hill was groomsman and Mr. Eric Clarkson best man.
The coaches for this wedding were supplied by Messrs. Charlesworth and Son, private car and taxi proprietors, 3. York Street. Wombwell (Phone Wombwell 208).
