Wedding – Robinson & Bucke.
Two sisters, Misses Dorothy and Hilda Bucke, only daughters of Mr. and Mrs. George Bucke, Snape Hill Road, Darfield, were married at Darfield Parish Church, on Saturday, and the double wedding aroused much interest.
Canon A. E. Sorby officiated.
The elder aster, Miss Dorothy Bucke, is on the staff of Snape Hill School, and a member of the committee of the local branch of the W.E.A. She was married to Mr. Edward Robinson, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Robinson, Kelvin Cottage, Wombwell, also a prominent member of the W.E.A. The bride given away by her father and wore beige georgette with silk lace trimmings and coatee, and brown straw hat. end carried pink room was attended by Miss Clara Banks. MA., who wore powder blue celanese stockingette and black picture hat, and carried bronze chrysanthemums.
Mr. W. A. Bucke, M.A., was best man.
Mr. and Mrs. Robinson left for Bournemouth, and Mr. and Mrs. Randerson for Blackpool. Among numerous presents, was an eiderdown from the staff of Snape Hill School for Miss Dorothy Bucke
