The wedding took place at Wombwell Parish Church on Saturday of Miss Lucy Pope, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Pope, of Prior’s Heath, Kilndown. Goudhurst. Kent, to Mr. Jonn Alan Farrow, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Farrow, of 2. Victoria Road, Wombwell.

The service was conducted by Canon J. St. Lager Blakeney. Given away by Mr. John Lindley, the bride wore a turquoise blue two-Piece with burgundy hat, gloves and shoes and carried red carnations. She was attended by Mrs. Shephard.

The best man was Pte. A. Hodgson and the groomsman Messrs. T. Goulding and A Farrow.
