Wombwell Swimmers Married

Prominent members of Wombwell Swimming Club and workers in the Sunday school at Hough Lane Methodist Church, Wombwell. Miss Daisy Parkes, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Parkes. “Kosy-Kot.” Wood Walk. Wombwell, and Mr. Jack Bakewell, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bakewell, 48, Cheltenham Road, Blackpool, formerly of Wombwell, were married at that place of worship on Wednesday. The ceremony was performed by the bridegroom’s brother, Mr. Fred Bakewell, a student minister, assisted by the Rev. F.J. Bell, of Barnsley
