Wedding: Norman and Depledge

Miss Annie Norman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Miles Norman, of 32, Orchard Street, Wombwell, was married to Mr. Henry Depledge, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Depledge, of Orchard View, Broomhill, at the Wombwell Methodist Church Schools, Wombwell, on Tuesday.

The bride was given away by her father and wore white satin with lace coatee and veil and wreath of orange blossom.  She carried a bouquet of lilies and white tulips.  Four bridesmaids were in attendance, namely Misses Edna Hearnes, Margaret Norman, Mary Nettleton, and Mary Depledge, wearing green satin with hats to match.

The best man was Mr. Dennis Norman.

The ceremony was conducted by Father Goaley and a reception was held at the Roman Catholic Church, Low Valley.
