Miss Winifred Noble, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Noble, 74, Main Street, Wombwell, was married by the Rev. J. St. Leger Blakeney, at Wombwell Parish Church on December 24th to Mr. Henry Felix Saunders, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Saunders, 19 Pickup Crescent, Wombwell.

The bride wore lemon satin with veil and wreath, and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids were Miss Gwennie Noble in blue satin, and three younger maids, Misses Doris Noble Ruby Kitchen and Kathleen Wroe, two in blue satin, and Miss Wroe in blue silk.

The best man was Mr Albert Saunders, and the groomsman Mr. Stanley Noble.

The bride was given away by her father. The reception was at the home of the bride, some 60 guests being received.
