Two prominent members of the Salvation Army Corps at Wombwell, one bandmaster and the other secretary, were married at the Salvation Army Hall on Saturday.

The bride was Miss Mary Kathleen Roberts, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Roberts, of 39 Lundhill Road, Wombwell, and the bridegroom Driver Leonard Newman, R.N., youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Newman, of School House, King’s Road, Wombwell.
