Miss Doris Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Marshall, the Post Office, Broomhill, Wombwell, was married at Broomhill Methodist Church on Saturday to Mr. John Robertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Robertson, of Glasgow.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of white satin beaute, cut on classical lines. Her veil formed a train and fell from a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

The bridesmaids were Misses Kathleen Marshall, Miss Nora Bradley, Miss Barbara Ives and Miss Joan Ma’rshall, with John Parkinson, nephew of the bride, as page.

The bride received a souvenir horseshoe from Master Henry Young, of Glasgow. Mr. J. Parkinson was best man and Mr. E. Marshall groomsman.
