Police Constable Fred Smith, of Wombwell, heavyweight boxing champion of the West Riding Constabulary, whose wedding to Miss Audrey Halton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Halton, of Stonyford Road, Wombwell, was reported our last issue.

P.c. Smith is a native of Barrow-ln- Furness. He has held the West Riding boxing title for three years. The couple were married at Wombwell Parish Church last Thursday.
