Wedding – Barnes & Gleadhall

Miss Kitty Gleadhall, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gleadhall, Clarke’s Road, Wombwell, was married at Wombwell Parish Church on Monday to Mr. Wilfred Barnes, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Barnes, High street, Wombwell.

The bride was given away by her father wore pale blue crêpe de chine and carried roses. Mrs Jesse Barnes and Kathleen Gleadhall, the bridesmaid wore floral georgette and flowers silk respectively, and carried chrysanthemums. The best man was Mr. Jabos Hurridis, and the groomsman, Mr Joseph Thalkeld,

Mr. J. Raystick (Bradford) played suitable organ music.

The Rev R. J. Jones officiated. The couple are honeymooning at Blackpool.
