Wedding – Garfitt – Cooling.

At Wombwell Parish Church on Monday the wedding was solemnized of Miss Edna Garfitt, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Garfitt, of Smith Street, Wombwell, to Mr. Thomas Cooling, third son of Mr. and Mrs. James Cooling, 34. Myers Street, Mitchell Terrace, Wombwell.

The Rector of Wombwell, the Rev. J. St. Leger Blakeney, conducted the ceremony.

Carrying a bouquet of red roses and wearing white satin with veil and wreath of orange blossom, the bride way given away by her father. Misses Grace Mann and Bertha Cooling were the bridesmaids, wearing pink satin with black picture hats.

Mr. Sydney Cooling was best man and Mr. Albert Garfitt was groomsman.

A reception was held at the Horse Shoe Hotel, Wombwell.
