The wedding took place at Wombwell Parish Church on Saturday of Miss Mary Fleetwood, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs, David Fleetwood, 41, Wombwell Main, to Mr. Eric Saville, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Saville, 6, Clark’s Croft, Wombwell.

The bride wore a figured dress of crepe de chine with hat to match, and was given away her father. Her bouquet was of pink white carnations.

The bridesmaids were Miss Ivy Fleetwood and Miss Olive Saville. They wore figured crepe de chine and floral uncrushable crepe respectively.

Mr. J. W. Barraclough was best man, while the duties of groomsman were performed by Mr. B. Foers.
