Wedding: Dyson & Woolcott

The wedding took place at Wombwell Parish Church on Saturday of Miss Elizabeth Woolcott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas, of 14. Station Road, Wombwell, to Mr. Albert Dyson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ainley Dyson, of 39, Wright Crescent, Wombwell. The Rev. R. J. Jones officiated.

The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. Tom Woolcott, wore pale blue satin with hat to match and carried pink and white gladioli. The bridesmaids were Miss Doris Woolcott, Miss Margaret Woolcott, Miss Dorothy Finch and Miss Rose Dyson in blue satin dresses. There were also two smaller maids, Miss Doreen Foster and Miss Joan Woolcott in dresses of pink satin.

The best man was Mr. Ernest Lloyd, and the groomsman Mr. Joseph Dyson. A reception was held at the home of the bride.
