The wedding took place at Wombwell Parish Church on Saturday, of Miss Kathleen E. Dook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nelson Dook, 36, Hough Lane. Wombwell, and Mr. Reginald Banks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Banks. Dodworth Road. Barnsley.

The bride was given away by her father and wore flowered ninon with black picture hat and carried cream roses. The maid, Mrs. Laura Smith wore Game crepe de Chine with flowered bodice and back picture bat, and carried blush roses.

The couple left for their honeymoon in the Lake district.
