The wedding of Mr. J. Allott, son of Mr. R. Allott, of Wombwell, and Miss Vera Cornish, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. Cornish, took place at the Primitive Methodist Chapel on Saturday, by the Rev. D. M. Bowman.

The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in blue georgette, with shoes, stockings and hat to match, and was attended by Miss Betty and Miss Mary Cornish and Miss Annie Nevill.

Miss Botty Cornish wore blue georgette, while the other bridesmaids were dressed in shell pink georgette. They carried lemon chrysanthemums and pink carnations, and the bride carried a small bible.

Mr. A. Sokell, of Wombwell, was best man.
