The Wombwell Murder.

There has been some talk in Wombwell of a petition for a reprieve of one or both of the prisoners —John Gallagher and Emily Swann now under sentence of death for the murder of William Swann, the husband of the female convict; but up to the present no active steps have been taken in the matter.
