The Lowing Herd

This pleasant scene was not photo graphed in Sussex, but in Wombwell. It shows a herd of British Friesian cattle owned by Mr. Harry Charlesworth, of the Poplars Farm, Wombwell, going back to pasture after milking.

Mr. Charlesworth is very proud of this fine herd. Recently he has been visiting Holland to inspect numerous examples of the breed there.
