Denaby and Cadeby Collieries, which, of course, head the list, stand out very prominent, having forwarded 40,152 tons last month, against 3,256 tons, an increase of 36,896 tons.

In the eleven months the firm is accredited with 369,472 tons, against 269,058 tons last year, an increase of over 100,000 tons.

Hickleton Main stands second with only 14,588 tons, a decrease of 784 tons for the month, and an increase of 2,432 tons for the eleven months, the tonnage sent during the year reaching 143,592 tons, against 146,960 tons in 1902.

Aldwarke Main claims the third place with only 14,064 tons, a decrease of 6,516 tons for the month. The firm has also a falling off to the extent of 3,344 tons for the eleven months, only sending 156,912 tons during the present year, against 190,256 tons in 1902.

Kilnhurst and Thrybergh Hall Collieries rank fifth.
