Stacks and Barn Destroyed by Fire

Early this morning N.F.S. teams from Barnsley, Wombwell and Wath on-Dearne were still fighting a fire which caused extensive damage at Manor Farm. Brampton Brierlow, occupied by Mr. Joseph Downing.

The fire started about 8 o’clock last night, and four or five stacks of newly harvested corn, together with a dutch barn and another barn were destroyed.

Threshing was have started at the farm today.
