Belgian Honours For Wombwell Men.

Sergt. John Sykes (Y. & L.), (below left) of Wombwell, who has been serving abroad two years and eight months, has been awarded the Belgian Croix de Guerre for conspicuous gallantry at Passchendaele

Gunner James Charlesworth,(below right)  10, George, street, Wombwell, who is one of four soldier brothers, has also been awarded the Belgian Croix de Guerre.
