Out of Hospital

Friends of Gunner Fred Whitehead (29), of 3 Milton Street. Wombwell, will be please to know, that he is on the way to recovery after being in hospital for an ailment.

Whitehead, who is married and has three children attended Park Street Council School. Wombwell, and was formerly employed at Mitchell Main.

He is well remembered am a past member of the Health and Strength organisation at Wombwell. He Joined up is January, 1941
