Now In India

Formerly employed at Woods Glassworks, Wombwell, Pte. George Arthur Swift (26) R.A.M.C. of 39, Roebuck Street, Wombwell, is now serving in the India Command.

He has promised to send early news to his work’s pals through Mr. H. Ducker who keeps up correspondence with employees now with the Forces.

Swift was formerly on the committee of Woods Glassworks Cricket and Football Clubs, and at one time was a regular player.  He joined up in September 1942 and went abroad last December.
