Private S Sokell

Mr Herbert Sokell, Hough Lane, Wombwell, has just received information that his son Stanley of the York and Lancaster Regiment has been killed in action on the fifth inst.

He was 19 years of age, and previous to enlisting 18 months ago he worked at the Wombwell Main Colliery.
