A Conisbrough Query

The man on the right-hand side of the photograph reproduced here, was recently killed in action in the Mediterranean theatre of war, and his wife, Mrs. M. H. Saville, of 6, Clarkscroft, Wombwell, has asked the “South Yorkshire Times” to help her to get into touch with the wife of the other man in the picture.

All Mrs. Saville knows is that the man comes from Conisbrough and has a wife and two children, and was serving with her husband in a Yorkshire infantry regiment.

The photograph was taken in Algiers in June this year.
