Private Roberts, son of Mr and Mrs. W. Roberts, Queen St., New Scarboro’, Wombwell, has been, wounded in the recent fighting, and is hospital in Woolwich.

He enlisted at the outbreak of war, and saw service in Eqypt before going to France.

Before enlistment he was employed at the Dearne Valley colliery.
