Lcp. George Lee , 69 Myers St, Wombwell, was taken prisoner on March 23.

He enlisted in the Barnsley Battalion (York and Lancs) in April, 1915, and was acting as medical orderly when he was captured.

Before enlistment he was employed at Mitchell Main.
