A Wombwell Pugilist – Missing
Fears are entertained concerning the fate of private Arthur Hoyland, 10th York and Lancaster’s of Milton Street, Wombwell, who prior to the outbreak of war figured with credit in many local glove fights, went to France quite recently.
He has not been heard of for more than three weeks.
